Bus
From central Veracruz, head to the Terminal de Autobuses de Veracruz (Bus Terminal). Here, look for buses heading to Zempoala. Once you board, inform the driver that you want to get off at the Cempoala Archaeological Zone stop. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival, the archaeological site is a short walk from the bus stop; follow the signs towards 'Zona Arqueológica de Cempoala'.
Taxi
In Veracruz, you can find taxis at designated taxi stands or you can hail one. Ask the driver to take you to Cempoala Archaeological Zone (Zona Arqueológica de Cempoala). The ride will take around 45 minutes. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey, as taxi meters may not be used.

Follow the signs for the highway, and make sure to stay on the bike lane where available. The ride is approximately 20 km and will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Upon reaching Zempoala, look for directional signs to the archaeological site.
