If you are in the Centro area, head towards the coast. From the Plaza de Armas, walk west towards the beach. Once you reach Paseo Díaz Ordaz, turn left (south) and follow the promenade. The Puerto Vallarta Malecon will be on your right, stretching along the waterfront. It is a lovely walk with plenty of shops and restaurants along the way.

Find a bus stop along any major road in Puerto Vallarta. Look for buses heading towards Centro or the beach. You can catch a bus for around 10 pesos.
