Getting there

Walking

If you are staying in Holbox town, the easiest way to reach UMA Cayo Cocodrilo is by walking. From the main square (Plaza Principal), head south on Calle 5. Continue straight until you reach Av. Damero. Turn left on Av. Damero and walk until you see the entrance to UMA Cayo Cocodrilo located between Calle Sierra and Chac-chi. It's approximately a 15-20 minute walk.

Bicycle Rental

Another great way to get to UMA Cayo Cocodrilo is by renting a bicycle. You can find rental shops near the main square in Holbox. Once you have your bike, head south on Calle 5, then turn left on Av. Damero. The ecological park is located between Calle Sierra and Chac-chi. The bike ride takes about 10-15 minutes and costs around 100-150 MXN for a few hours.

Golf Cart Taxi

If you prefer not to walk or bike, you can take a golf cart taxi, which is a popular mode of transportation on the island. From anywhere in Holbox, just flag down a golf cart taxi and tell the driver you want to go to UMA Cayo Cocodrilo on Av. Damero. The ride will take around 5-10 minutes and usually costs about 30-50 MXN per person depending on the distance.
