Start at the Frankenmuth Visitor Center located at 635 S Main St, Frankenmuth, MI 48734. Head south on S Main St towards W Jefferson St. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with W Genesee St. Turn right onto W Genesee St and walk until you reach the intersection with Bay City Rd (M-13). Turn left onto Bay City Rd and continue walking for about 1.5 miles. You'll then reach the entrance of Bay City State Park, which is located at 3582 State Park Dr, Bay City, MI 48706.
Biking
Begin your ride at the Frankenmuth River Place Shops at 925 S Main St, Frankenmuth, MI 48734. Head south on S Main St, then take a right onto W Genesee St. Continue straight until you reach Bay City Rd (M-13). Turn left onto Bay City Rd and bike for approximately 1.5 miles. The entrance to Bay City State Park will be on your left at 3582 State Park Dr, Bay City, MI 48706.
Public Transportation
From Frankenmuth, take the Greyhound bus service. You will need to get to the nearest Greyhound station, which is in Saginaw, MI. From the Frankenmuth Visitor Center, go to the nearest bus stop and take a bus to Saginaw. Once there, transfer to a bus heading towards Bay City. After arriving in Bay City, you can walk or take a local taxi service to Bay City State Park at 3582 State Park Dr, Bay City, MI 48706.
