Walking
If you are starting from the popular Bavarian Inn Lodge located at 1 Covered Bridge Ln, head south on Covered Bridge Ln towards S Main St. Turn left onto S Main St and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. The Frankenmuth Historical Museum will be on your right at 613 S Main St. Look for the large sign in front of the museum.
Public Transport
If you are near the Frankenmuth Visitor Center located at 635 S Main St, you can catch the Frankenmuth Shuttle, which operates on a fixed route. Board the shuttle heading south towards the main downtown area. Get off at the stop nearest to the Frankenmuth Historical Museum, which is located at 613 S Main St. The museum is just a short walk from the shuttle stop.
Biking
For those who prefer biking, start from the River Place Shops at 925 S Main St. Exit the shopping area and head south on S Main St. Follow this road for about 0.7 miles, and you will reach the Frankenmuth Historical Museum located at 613 S Main St. There are bike racks available outside the museum for you to secure your bike.
