Getting There

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    Start at the Grand Rapids Central Station. Take the Rapid Bus Route 1 (Blue Line) heading toward the East Beltline. Ride the bus for approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the 'E Beltline Ave SE & 28th St SE' stop. From there, walk southeast on E Beltline Ave SE for about 0.5 miles (approximately 10 minutes). The Bunker Interpretive Center will be on your right at 1750 E Beltline Ave SE.

    If you are already near the East Beltline area, head to E Beltline Ave SE. Walk south until you reach 28th St SE. Continue walking south on E Beltline Ave SE for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Bunker Interpretive Center at 1750 E Beltline Ave SE. The center is located on the right side of the road.

  • Bike Rental

    Rent a bike from any of the local bike rental services in downtown Grand Rapids. Head east toward E Beltline Ave SE and follow the bike lanes south. Continue on E Beltline Ave SE for about 2 miles. The Bunker Interpretive Center will be on your right at 1750 E Beltline Ave SE. There is bike parking available at the center.
