Car
From Holland State Park, head east on Ottawa Beach Road. Continue for about 5 miles until you reach the intersection with US-31. Take a left onto US-31 North, and continue driving for approximately 12 miles. Take the exit toward I-196 East toward Grand Rapids. Merge onto I-196 East and continue for about 20 miles. Take exit 77A for Michigan 44/Sheldon Ave toward the downtown area. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Sheldon Ave NE. The Grand Rapids Children's Museum will be on your left at 11 Sheldon Ave NE.

Public Transportation
From Holland State Park, walk to the nearest bus stop at the intersection of Ottawa Beach Road and 32nd Street. Take the 'The Rapid' bus route 6 towards Grand Rapids. Stay on the bus for about 45 minutes and get off at the 'Grand Rapids Downtown' stop. Walk north on Monroe Ave NW for about 0.5 miles, then turn right onto Sheldon Ave NE. The Grand Rapids Children's Museum will be on your left at 11 Sheldon Ave NE.
