From downtown Kalamazoo, walk to the Kalamazoo Transportation Center located at 459 N Burdick St. Take the Metro Transit Bus Route 2 (Northwest) towards Westnedge & Milham. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes. Get off at the stop at Westnedge Ave & E Milham Ave. From there, walk north on Westnedge Ave for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the Kalamazoo Nature Center, located at 7000 N Westnedge Ave.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Kalamazoo. Head north on the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail. Continue on the trail until you reach Westnedge Ave. Turn right (north) onto Westnedge Ave and continue for approximately 1 mile. The Kalamazoo Nature Center will be on your left at 7000 N Westnedge Ave.
