Start from the center of Marquette at the intersection of Washington Street and Third Street. Head north on Third Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Lakeshore Boulevard. Turn left onto Lakeshore Boulevard and continue for about 1 mile, enjoying the scenic views of Lake Superior. When you reach the intersection with McClellan Avenue, turn right. Follow McClellan Avenue until you reach the entrance of the Harlow Lake Recreation Area, which will be on your left. The entrance is marked, and you may need to walk a short distance into the park to find the trailhead leading to Carp River Falls.

Begin your journey at the Marquette Commons, located at 112 S. Third St. Head north on Third Street for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto Lakeshore Boulevard. Bike along Lakeshore Boulevard for approximately 1 mile. Once you reach the intersection with McClellan Avenue, turn right. Continue on McClellan Avenue, and look for signs indicating the Harlow Lake Recreation Area. Once you arrive at the entrance, you can park your bike and follow the walking trail to Carp River Falls.
