Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from downtown Marquette, head south on Front Street. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Lakeshore Boulevard. Turn left onto Lakeshore Boulevard and continue walking along the shore of Lake Superior. After approximately 0.7 miles, you will see the Lower Harbor Ore Dock on your right. The dock is located at the end of the City Multi Use Path.

    Begin your journey at the Marquette Commons in downtown Marquette. Rent a bike if you do not have one. Head south on Third Street and take a right onto Baraga Avenue. Follow Baraga Avenue until you reach the waterfront, then take a left onto the City Multi Use Path. Continue biking along the path, which will take you directly to the Lower Harbor Ore Dock. Expect the total distance to be about 1.5 miles.
