From the center of Mount Pleasant, head south on S Main St toward E Broadway St. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with E Pickard St. Turn right onto E Pickard St. After about 0.3 miles, continue straight as E Pickard St becomes S Mission St. Walk for another 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with E Michigan Ave. Turn left onto E Michigan Ave and continue for 0.6 miles. Turn right onto S University Ave and walk for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with W Broadway St. Turn left onto W Broadway St and continue for 0.2 miles. Finally, turn right onto E Battery St, and you will find the Edmondston-Alston House at 21 E Battery.
