    From Tawas Point State Park, exit the park and head southwest on Tawas Beach Road. Continue onto East Tawas Avenue (M-55) and drive for about 5 miles. After passing through the town of East Tawas, continue straight onto US-23 N. Follow US-23 N for approximately 15 miles until you reach Oscoda. Take the exit toward M-72 W and turn left onto M-72 W. After about 3 miles, turn right onto Monument Road. The Huron-Manistee National Forests Lumberman's Monument Visitor Center will be on your left at 5401 Monument Rd, Oscoda, MI 48750.
