From anywhere in The Thumb region, head south towards I-75. If you are in areas like Port Huron, Caseville or Bad Axe, find your way to I-75 South. Once on I-75, drive approximately 35 miles to exit 117 for I-475 S toward Flint. Continue on I-475 S for about 5 miles and take exit 6A to merge onto US-23 S toward Detroit. After 7 miles, take exit 5 for E. Maple Ave toward Burton. Continue straight onto E Maple Ave and then turn left onto N Genesee Rd. For-Mar Nature Preserve & Arboretum will be on your right at 2142 N Genesee Rd, Burton, MI 48509.
