If you're starting from the center of Weno, head southeast on the main road towards the Chuuk State Government Office. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer, passing local shops and the market on your left. Look for the sign indicating the road to the Japanese Gun, which is an unnamed road off the main road. Turn left onto this road. Walk for approximately 500 meters; you will see the Japanese Gun on your right, marked by a small clearing.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Weno. Start from the Weno Town center and head southeast towards the Chuuk State Government Office. Continue on the main road for about 1 kilometer. Once you reach the turn-off for the road leading to the Japanese Gun, turn left. Cycle down this unnamed road for about 500 meters, and you will find the Japanese Gun on your right side.
Boat
If you're near the waterfront, you can also reach Japanese Gun by hiring a local boat. Ask the boatman to take you close to the shoreline near the Japanese Gun, which is located on the unnamed road. Once you reach the vicinity, you may need to disembark and walk approximately 200 meters inland to find the site.
