Car
From Big Woods, head north on MN-11 W. Continue for approximately 20 miles until you reach the intersection with MN-47 N. Turn left onto MN-47 N, and follow this road for about 10 miles until you reach the town of Angle Inlet. Once in Angle Inlet, follow the signs leading to Flag Island. You will need to take a boat or ferry from Angle Inlet, as the resort is situated on Flag Island. Ensure you check the ferry schedule in advance as it operates seasonally, and there may be a fee for the ride.
Public Transportation
If you are relying on public transportation, start by taking a bus from Big Woods to the nearest city with a more extensive transit system, likely Warroad or Baudette. From there, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Angle Inlet. Once in Angle Inlet, similar to the car route, you will need to take a boat or ferry to Flag Island Resort. Be aware that public transportation options may be limited, and scheduling may require careful planning.

After arriving in Angle Inlet, locate the ferry dock that services Flag Island Resort. The ferry ride is essential as the resort is only accessible by water.
