If you are traveling by car within Big Woods, start by heading towards the nearest main road, which is MN-61. From there, take a right turn onto MN-61 North. Follow this road until you reach the junction with I-35. Merge onto I-35 North and continue driving for approximately 20 miles. Take exit 256B for I-535 towards Duluth. Merge onto I-535 and continue onto US-53 N. Take the exit towards Park Point. Follow the signs leading to Park Point and then to the Minnesota Point Lighthouse. The lighthouse is located at 46.7100244 latitude and -92.0258456 longitude.

If you prefer public transportation, begin by checking the local bus schedule for the Duluth Transit Authority (DTA). Board a bus that heads towards downtown Duluth. Once you arrive in downtown, transfer to the DTA bus route that services Park Point. The bus will take you directly to the Park Point area. From the bus stop, you will need to walk approximately half a mile to reach the Minnesota Point Lighthouse located at 46.7100244 latitude and -92.0258456 longitude. Make sure to check the DTA website for current fares and schedules, as there may be a small fee for riding the bus.
