From Big Woods, head southeast on County Road 1 towards Nerstrand. Continue on County Road 1 for about 10 miles until you reach the intersection with State Highway 19. Turn left onto State Highway 19 and travel for approximately 2 miles. Take a right onto 170th Street E, and after about 1 mile, you will arrive at the Nerstrand Big Woods State Park entrance located at 9700 170th St E, Nerstrand, MN 55053. There is no entrance fee for the state park, but be prepared for potential parking fees during peak seasons.
