Getting There

• Car

  From any location in the Central Lakes Region, make your way to US-53. If you're in the Brainerd area, head south on MN-371 until you reach the junction with US-53. Then take US-53 north towards Superior, Wisconsin. As you approach the city of Superior, take the exit for WI-35 S towards South Range. Continue on WI-35 S, and then turn right onto County Rd U. Follow County Rd U for about 3 miles, and you will find Amnicon Falls State Park on your left at 4279 County Rd U, South Range, WI 54874.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, your best option is to take a Greyhound bus or another regional bus service to Superior, Wisconsin. Once in Superior, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to get to Amnicon Falls State Park, as public transport options directly to the park are limited. Be prepared for taxi fares that may range from $20 to $40 depending on the distance and time of day.

• Bicycle

  For adventurous travelers, cycling to Amnicon Falls State Park can be a scenic option. Start from Duluth, MN, and take the Munger Trail south towards the park. After reaching the intersection with WI-35, turn south and continue for about 11 miles on WI-35. Then head west on County Rd U for the last 3 miles to reach the park. This route is approximately 25 miles and may take around 2-3 hours of cycling, depending on your pace.
