Walking
If you are staying in downtown Ely, start at the intersection of Sheridan Street and 2nd Avenue. Head north on 2nd Avenue until you reach the intersection with E. 5th Street. Turn left onto E. 5th Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with MN-169. Cross MN-169 carefully at the pedestrian crosswalk. Once across, continue walking north on MN-169 for about 1 mile. The International Wolf Center will be on your right at 1396 MN-169. Look for the large sign at the entrance.

Begin at the Ely City Park located on E. 3rd Street. Ride your bike east on E. 3rd Street until you reach 2nd Avenue. Turn left onto 2nd Avenue and head north until you reach E. 5th Street. Turn left onto E. 5th Street, and follow it until you reach MN-169. Carefully cross MN-169 at the pedestrian crosswalk and continue riding north on MN-169 for approximately 1 mile. The International Wolf Center will be on your right at 1396 MN-169. There are bike racks available for parking.
