From any location in Superior National Forest, head towards Highway 169. If you're near Ely, take 1st Ave E to reach Highway 169. Continue on Highway 169 for approximately 20 miles until you reach the junction with County Road 26. Turn left onto County Road 26 and follow it for about 8 miles. Look for the signs directing you to Lake Vermilion-Soudan Underground Mine State Park. The park entrance will be on your left at 1302 McKinley Park Rd, Soudan, MN 55782.
