    Start your journey in downtown Ely, Minnesota. Head east on Sheridan Street until you reach the intersection with 3rd Avenue. Turn left (north) onto 3rd Avenue and continue until you reach the intersection with Fernberg Road. Turn right (east) onto Fernberg Road. Follow Fernberg Road for approximately 2.5 miles. You will see the entrance to the Kawishiwi Falls Trail on your left. The trailhead is well-marked and has parking available if you need it.

    Begin at the Ely City Park located at the corner of 2nd Avenue and East Camp Street. From there, head east on East Camp Street, which will turn into Fernberg Road.
