Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Ely City Center (around the intersection of Sheridan Street and 3rd Avenue), head north on Sheridan Street. Continue straight as it becomes MN-169. Walk approximately 1.5 miles, crossing the bridge over the Vermilion River. The International Wolf Center will be on your left at 1396 MN-169. You will recognize it by its distinctive signage and the parking lot.

    Start from the Ely City Center. Head north on Sheridan Street, which will turn into MN-169 as you continue. This route is about 1.5 miles. Follow the road until you see the International Wolf Center on your left at 1396 MN-169. There are bike racks available for parking your bicycle.

    Check with the local transit service, as Ely may have limited public transport options. If available, take the bus towards the direction of MN-169. Make sure to inform the driver you want to stop at the International Wolf Center, located at 1396 MN-169.
