Walking
Start your journey at the Grand Marais Recreation Area, located on 3rd Avenue West. Head west on 3rd Avenue until you reach W Hwy 61. Turn right onto W Hwy 61 and continue walking north. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will see a sign for Fall River Waterfall on the right side of the highway. The waterfall is a short walk from the highway.

Begin at the Grand Marais Harbor, located at the end of Wisconsin Street. From the harbor, take the bike path that runs along the shore heading west. Continue on the path until you reach W Hwy 61. Turn left onto W Hwy 61 and bike north for about 1.5 miles. Look for the sign for Fall River Waterfall on your right; the waterfall is a short distance from the highway.
