If you are traveling by car, start on Gunflint Trail (MN-12). Head northeast on Gunflint Trail for approximately 18 miles. You will pass through beautiful forested areas and may spot some wildlife along the way. As you approach Grand Marais, keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Old Shore Beach. Once you reach Grand Marais, turn left onto MN-61 (the main road through town) and continue for about 2 miles. Look for the entrance to Old Shore Beach on your right. There should be parking available nearby.
