Car
If you're coming from Duluth, MN, take MN-61 N. Follow MN-61 for about 90 miles until you reach Tettegouche State Park located at 5702 MN-61, Silver Bay, MN 55614. Once you arrive at the park, find the parking area and look for trail signs leading to High Falls. The hike is approximately 1 mile from the parking area to the falls.
Public Transportation
Take a Greyhound or Jefferson Lines bus from Duluth to Silver Bay. Check the bus schedule for departure times. Once you arrive in Silver Bay, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to Tettegouche State Park, as public transport does not run directly to the park. Expect to pay around $15-$25 for the taxi ride. After reaching the park, follow the signs to the High Falls trail, which is a 1-mile hike from the parking area.
Biking
If you're an adventurous traveler and have a bike, you can bike along the scenic MN-61. It's about 90 miles from Duluth to Silver Bay. Once in Silver Bay, head to Tettegouche State Park. There are bike racks available in the parking area. The trail to High Falls is accessible for biking, but please note that some parts may be more suitable for walking.
