Car
From any location in Lutsen Mountains, head south on MN-61 S. Continue for approximately 6 miles. Look for the sign for Poplar River Condos on the right. Turn right onto Poplar River Road and follow it until you reach the entrance to the condos. After parking, walk towards the beach access point located just a short distance from the condos.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take the Arrowhead Transit bus service from Lutsen Village to Grand Marais. Disembark at the stop nearest to Poplar River Condos, which is roughly 6 miles from the condos. From there, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to reach the beach entrance. Expect to pay approximately $15-$20 for the taxi ride.
