Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving, start from the center of Lutsen Mountains. Head north on MN-61 N for about 2 miles. Then take a left turn onto Co Hwy 5. Continue on Co Hwy 5 for approximately 1 mile, and you will see the entrance to Lutsen Scientific and Natural Area (SNA) on your right. There is no entrance fee, and parking is available.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, first take the Arrowhead Transit bus service that operates in the area. The closest bus stop is at the Lutsen Mountains Resort. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles north along MN-61 N. After about 1 mile, turn left onto Co Hwy 5 and continue for another half-mile until you reach the Lutsen Scientific and Natural Area (SNA) entrance.
