If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Lutsen Mountains. Head west on MN-61 towards Lutsen. After approximately 3 miles, turn left onto Lutsen Resort Road, which will lead you towards Boulder Point Road. Drive for 0.5 miles and take a right onto Boulder Point Road. Continue straight for about 0.2 miles until you reach Lutsen Lookout, located at 232 Boulder Point Rd, Lutsen, MN 55612. There is ample parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Arrowhead Transit bus service that operates in the area. Board the bus at the nearest stop to your location in Lutsen. You will need to ride to the nearest bus stop at Lutsen Resort, which is a short distance from Lutsen Lookout. From the Lutsen Resort stop, it is approximately a 0.5-mile walk along Lutsen Resort Road to reach Boulder Point Road. Follow Boulder Point Road until you arrive at Lutsen Lookout at 232 Boulder Point Rd.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous and prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Lutsen. Start at the Lutsen Mountain ski area, then head east on MN-61 for about 3 miles. Turn left onto Lutsen Resort Road, then a right onto Boulder Point Road. It's about a half-mile ride to Lutsen Lookout from there. Be sure to wear a helmet and follow safety regulations while biking on the road.
Walking
If you're already in the vicinity of Lutsen Lookout and prefer walking, start from the Lutsen Resort area. Walk west along Lutsen Resort Road until you reach Boulder Point Road. Turn right onto Boulder Point Road and continue walking for about 0.2 miles. You will find Lutsen Lookout at 232 Boulder Point Rd. This route offers beautiful scenery along the way.
