Bus
From the center of Mankato, head to the Mankato Bus Station located at 201 East Main Street. Catch the Route 2 bus towards North Mankato. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the stop at N Riverfront Dr & 7th St. Here, you will need to transfer to the Route 3 bus. Board the Route 3 bus towards the Mankato Airport. After about 20 minutes, get off at the stop near the intersection of Gadwall Rd and Highway 14. From here, you can walk approximately 0.5 miles along Gadwall Rd directly to the entrance of Minneopa State Park.

Bike
If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Mankato. Start at the Riverfront Park bike path and ride towards Highway 14. Follow the bike path until you reach the intersection with Gadwall Rd. Turn left onto Gadwall Rd and continue straight for about 1 mile. This will lead you directly to the entrance of Minneopa State Park, where you can enjoy the scenic views and trails.

Walking
If you are up for a walk, start from the Mankato City Center. Head east on Main St towards Riverfront Dr. Continue straight until you reach N Riverfront Dr. Turn left and follow the river along the path. When you reach the intersection with Highway 14, turn right and walk along the side of the highway. After approximately 1.5 miles, turn left onto Gadwall Rd and walk another 0.5 miles to reach the entrance of Minneopa State Park.
