Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Mankato City Center, head north on S Front St toward E Main St. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with N Riverfront Dr. Turn left onto N Riverfront Dr and follow it as it curves slightly to the right. After about 0.2 miles, you'll reach the intersection with E Washington St. Turn right onto E Washington St and continue for another 0.3 miles. You will see Minnesota State University, Mankato on your left. The #MAVFAM Sign is located on the university campus, near the intersection of E Washington St and Alumni Dr.

• Public Transit

  Begin your journey at the Mankato City Center and locate the nearest bus stop. Take the Blue Earth County Transit bus (route information can be found on their website or at the bus stop). You will want to catch a bus heading towards Minnesota State University. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Disembark at the stop closest to the university, which is near the intersection of E Washington St and Alumni Dr. From there, you can walk to the #MAVFAM Sign, which is a short 5-minute walk on campus.

• Biking

  If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from a local bike share program or use your own. Start at the Mankato City Center and head north on S Front St. Continue straight until you reach N Riverfront Dr. Turn left onto N Riverfront Dr and bike along it for about 0.5 miles. When you reach E Washington St, turn right and continue biking for about 0.3 miles. The university will be on your left, and the #MAVFAM Sign will be located on the campus near the intersection of E Washington St and Alumni Dr.
