After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto South Riverfront Drive. Continue walking along the river for approximately 0.7 miles until you reach the intersection with 4th Street. Turn right onto 4th Street and follow it for about 0.3 miles. You will see the entrance to Red Jacket Valley Park on your left. The lake is located within the park. The entrance to Red Jacket Valley Park will be on your left. The lake is a short ride inside the park, accessible by paths.

Check the local bus schedules for the Mankato Transit system. Take Bus Route 1 from the Mankato City Center heading to the River Hills Mall. Disembark at the stop closest to 4th Street. From there, walk west on 4th Street for approximately 0.3 miles. The entrance to Red Jacket Valley Park will be on your left. After entering the park, follow the signs to the lake area.
