From downtown Minneapolis, walk to the Nicollet Mall light rail station (located at 5th St S and Nicollet Mall). Board the METRO Green Line light rail train heading towards the University of Minnesota. Ride for about 5 stops until you reach the Stadium Village station. Exit the train and transfer to the Metro Transit buses. Board the Route 3 bus (Eastbound) towards the University of Minnesota. Stay on the bus for approximately 12 minutes, getting off at the stop at 29th Ave NE & Ridgway Pkwy. From there, it's a short walk to Minneapolis Lookout, located at 3045-3109 Ridgway Pkwy.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a Nice Ride bike share station, which are available throughout Minneapolis. Start at any Nice Ride station in downtown Minneapolis and head east on Washington Ave SE. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 29th Ave NE. Turn right on 29th Ave NE and follow it until you reach Ridgway Pkwy. Turn left onto Ridgway Pkwy, and you will find Minneapolis Lookout ahead.

If you're near the Mississippi River at Boom Island Park, you can walk to Minneapolis Lookout. Start by heading south on Plymouth Ave N towards the river. Continue until you reach the riverfront and follow the paths along the river, enjoying the views. When you reach the bridge, cross over to the other side of the river and follow the path to Ridgway Pkwy. From there, turn left and walk until you reach the Minneapolis Lookout.
