Light Rail
If you're starting from downtown Minneapolis, head to the Target Field Station and take the METRO Light Rail Blue Line towards Mall of America. Ride for about 8 stops (approximately 20 minutes) until you reach the 'Cedar-Riverside' station. After exiting, walk east on Cedar Avenue for a few blocks until you reach East River Parkway. Turn left and walk north for about 10 minutes until you see the Weisman Art Museum on your right at 333 E River Pkwy.
Bus
From downtown Minneapolis, find the nearest bus stop and take the Metro Transit Bus Route 2 (heading towards the University of Minnesota). Ride for about 13 minutes and get off at the 'Washington Ave SE & Oak St SE' stop. From there, walk south on Oak Street SE for two blocks, then turn right onto East River Parkway. Continue walking for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Weisman Art Museum located at 333 E River Pkwy.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a nearby Nice Ride station. Head south from downtown along the bike lanes on Washington Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the East River Parkway. Then, turn right and follow the river paths for about 1.5 miles until you see the Weisman Art Museum on your left at 333 E River Pkwy.
Walking
If you are close to the University of Minnesota campus, you can simply walk to the Weisman Art Museum. From the campus area, head east on Washington Avenue SE, then turn south on Oak Street SE, which will lead you directly to East River Parkway. The museum is a short 10-minute walk from the campus, located at 333 E River Pkwy.
