    Light Rail

    Start at the nearest light rail station to your location. If you are in downtown Minneapolis, board the METRO Blue Line at any station heading towards the Mall of America. Get off at the 'Government Plaza' station. From there, transfer to the METRO Green Line at the 'Government Plaza' station and head towards 'Union Depot'. Alight at the 'Warehouse District/Hennepin Ave' station.

    Walking

    Once you exit the 'Warehouse District/Hennepin Ave' station, head east on 5th Ave N towards 1st St N. Turn left onto 1st St N and walk until you reach the Mississippi River. Cross the river using the Stone Arch Bridge for a scenic view. After crossing, continue straight until you reach 1 Portland Ave. The St. Anthony Falls Visitor Center will be on your left.

    Bus

    From anywhere in Minneapolis, locate the nearest bus stop. Use the Metro Transit app or website to find a route that goes towards downtown Minneapolis. Board the bus and get off at the 'Washington Ave SE' stop. Walk south towards the river, turn left onto 1st St SE, and continue until you reach 1 Portland Ave. The St. Anthony Falls Visitor Center will be on your right.
