Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes. You will want to get off at the 'Lake St & Hiawatha Ave' stop. After disembarking, walk west on Lake St for a few blocks until you reach Zenith Ave S. Public Transit - Light Rail
From downtown Minneapolis, make your way to the Target Field light rail station. Board the Blue Line train heading towards 'Mall of America'. Ride the train for approximately 20 minutes, and get off at the 'Lake St – Midtown' station. From there, transfer to Bus Route 23 (heading towards 'Southdale Center'). Get off at the 'Lake St & Zenith Ave S' stop. Walk south on Zenith Ave S for about 5 minutes until you reach The Bakken Museum at 3537 Zenith Ave S.
Walking
If you are nearby in the West Maka Ska area, and prefer to walk, head towards Lake Calhoun. From the lake, find Zenith Ave S and walk north. Continue for approximately 15 minutes until you see The Bakken Museum on your left at 3537 Zenith Ave S. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
Biking
For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike at one of the many bike-sharing stations available in Minneapolis. If starting from downtown, bike towards Lake St, and then take a right onto Zenith Ave S. Follow the bike lane north for about 15 minutes until you reach The Bakken Museum at 3537 Zenith Ave S.
