From Duluth, Minnesota, take US-53 S for approximately 90 miles until you reach the intersection with MN-2. Merge onto MN-2 W and continue for about 40 miles. You will pass through the small towns of Grand Rapids and Deer River. After Deer River, continue on MN-2 W for another 20 miles until you reach Cass Lake. In Cass Lake, turn onto Ash Ave NW, and Chippewa National Forest will be located at 200 Ash Ave NW, Cass Lake, MN 56633.
