    If you are driving from anywhere in Northwestern Minnesota, take Highway 2 east towards Grand Rapids. Merge onto Highway 169 south towards Minneapolis. Continue on Highway 169 until you reach the I-494 interchange. Take I-494 south, then take exit 4 for MN-5 W towards the airport. Follow signs for County Road 34 and then Appletree Square. The Northwest Airlines History Center will be on your left at 3 Appletree Square, Bloomington, MN 55425. There is usually free parking available nearby.

    If you are using public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus to Minneapolis from various locations in Northwestern Minnesota. Once in Minneapolis, transfer to the Metro Transit Light Rail Green Line at the Target Field Station and head towards the Mall of America station. From the Mall of America, catch the 5 or 21 bus that goes towards Bloomington and get off at the Appletree Square stop. The Northwest Airlines History Center is a short walk from there.
