If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major city in the Prairie Pothole Region, such as Fergus Falls. From Fergus Falls, take MN-210 E towards Pelican Rapids. Continue on MN-210 for approximately 20 miles until you reach the intersection with MN-59. Turn right onto MN-59 S. After about 6 miles, turn left onto County Road 11 (Park Entrance Rd). Follow this road for about 2 miles, and you will arrive at the entrance to Maplewood State Park, located at 39721 Park Entrance Rd, Pelican Rapids, MN 56572. There is a vehicle entrance fee of $7 for a day pass.
