From any location in Red River Valley, get onto MN-1 W. Continue on MN-1 W until you reach the junction with MN-61 N. Merge onto MN-61 N and follow it for about 40 miles. You will pass through beautiful scenic areas. Once you reach the Temperance River area, look for signs directing you to the Temperance River State Park. The specific address is Minnesota 55613. There is parking available at the state park, but be mindful that there may be a parking fee, typically around $5 for the day.
