If you’re driving from the center of Red River Valley, head east on MN-10 E. Continue for about 20 miles until you reach the junction with I-94 E. Merge onto I-94 E and follow it for approximately 15 miles. Take the exit for WI-35 S toward Hudson. Follow WI-35 S for about 5 miles, then take a left onto County Highway A. Continue on County Highway A for about 2 miles, and you will find the entrance to Willow River State Park on your right at 1034 Co Hwy A, Hudson, WI 54016.

To reach Willow River State Park using public transport, first take a bus from Red River Valley to Hudson, WI. Check local transit schedules for routes heading to Hudson. Upon arriving at the Hudson bus station, you can either take a taxi or rideshare service to get to Willow River State Park. The park is located about 5 miles from the bus station, and taxi fares may range from $10 to $15 depending on traffic. Alternatively, if you prefer to walk, you can head south on WI-35 for about 1.5 miles before turning onto County Highway A and continuing for another 2 miles to reach the park.
