Walking
If you're starting from the downtown area of Saint Cloud, head east on 5th Avenue South towards Washington Memorial Drive. Continue on Washington Memorial Drive until you reach the intersection with 1st Street South. Turn left onto 1st Street South and continue straight until you reach the river. The St. Cloud Historic Marker is located along the banks of the Mississippi River, near the pedestrian walking paths, providing a scenic view of the area.

From the downtown area, take the bike path along the Mississippi River. Start at the River's Edge Park and follow the path north along the river. You will eventually reach a fork; take the path that leads towards the St. Cloud Historic Marker. The marker is easily accessible by bike and provides a lovely view of the river.

You will want to get off at the stop closest to the river, which is typically one of the stops along 5th Avenue South. From there, walk east towards the riverfront.
