Getting There

  • Light Rail

    If you are near the downtown area of Saint Paul, head to the nearest light rail station, which is the 'Central Station' located at 10th St & Robert St. Board the Green Line train heading towards Minneapolis. You will stay on the train for approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Government Plaza' station in Minneapolis. From there, transfer to the Blue Line towards Mall of America. After 1 stop, get off at 'US Bank Stadium'. Walk west on 6th St towards the Mississippi River for about 10 minutes until you reach 1 W River Pkwy where First Bridge Park is located.

  • Bus

    From anywhere in downtown Saint Paul, locate the nearest Metro Transit bus stop. Take the Route 63 bus heading towards 'University of Minnesota'. After approximately 20-25 minutes, get off at the 'Hennepin Ave & 1st St' stop. From there, walk south along Hennepin Ave, cross the bridge, and continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach 1 W River Pkwy. First Bridge Park will be on your right.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-share stations in Saint Paul. Head towards the riverfront by following the bike lanes on Sibley St. Continue along the Mississippi River, taking the bike paths that lead directly to the park. Start at Landmark Center on 5th St and head south towards Wabasha St. Cross the Wabasha Bridge and continue straight on 1st St until you reach the intersection with W River Pkwy. Turn left and walk about 5 minutes until you arrive at 1 W River Pkwy, where First Bridge Park is located.
