Getting There

    Start at the Nicollet Mall at 1st St and 7th St. Head west on 1st St toward S 1st Ave. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with S 1st Ave. Turn left onto S 1st Ave and continue for a short distance. Gateway Park will be on your right at 1 S 1st St.

    From the nearest Light Rail station, such as the Nicollet Mall Station, board the Blue or Green Line heading toward the Target Field Station. Travel just one stop and alight at the Government Plaza Station. Once you exit the station, head east on 6th St toward S 1st Ave. Turn right onto S 1st Ave and walk south until you reach Gateway Park at 1 S 1st St, which will be on your left.
