You will see The Monument in Merriam Park on your right.

Follow the riverfront bike path heading south. After about 1 mile, veer left onto Shepard Road. Continue for another mile until you reach the intersection with Snelling Avenue. Turn left onto Snelling Avenue and bike for about 0.5 miles. The Monument will be located on your left in Merriam Park.
Walking
From the historic Cathedral of Saint Paul, head southwest on Selby Avenue. Walk for about 0.7 miles until you reach Snelling Avenue. Turn right onto Snelling Avenue and continue walking for about 0.3 miles. Then, turn left onto Marshall Avenue and walk for about 0.5 miles. The Monument will be on your right side in Merriam Park.
