To reach Minnehaha Falls via public transit, start at Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis. Catch the Metro Transit Bus Route 53 from the Nicollet Mall & 5th Street stop. This bus will take you towards the south. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes. You will need to get off at the 'Minnehaha Park' stop. From there, it's just a short walk to Minnehaha Falls, following the signs directing you to the falls within the park.

If you prefer to take the Light Rail, head to the nearest Light Rail station, which is the Nicollet Mall station. Board the Blue Line train towards Mall of America. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Minnehaha Park' stop. Follow the signs to Minnehaha Falls, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
