    Start at the Stillwater Public Library located at 224 3rd St N, Stillwater, MN 55082. Head east on 3rd St N towards Main St N. Turn right onto Main St N and continue walking south. After crossing the river on the Main St bridge, you will reach the end of Main St. Continue walking straight, and you will see the entrance to the St. Croix Boom Site State Wayside on your left. The total walking distance is approximately 1.5 miles and should take about 30-40 minutes.

    Begin your bike ride at the Stillwater Riverfront Park. Head south on the riverfront trail and follow it along the banks of the St. Croix River. When you reach the Main St bridge, continue across the bridge, then take a left at the end of the bridge onto the trail that leads to the St. Croix Boom Site State Wayside.
