Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start on MN-1 S from anywhere in Superior National Forest. Follow MN-1 S for approximately 30 miles until you reach the junction with US-169. Merge onto US-169 S and continue for about 14 miles. Take the exit toward Biwabik. Continue on Main St for about 2 miles, and you will find Honk the Moose Statue located on Main St in Biwabik, MN 55708. There is free parking available along Main St.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, you will need to take a bus to Virginia, MN. From Superior National Forest, find a local transit service that can take you to Virginia. Once in Virginia, transfer to the bus service that operates to Biwabik. Check the local bus schedules for times and routes. The bus will drop you off near Main St in Biwabik, and from there, it is a short walk to the Honk the Moose Statue. Be prepared for potential bus fares, which can vary but are typically around $2-$5.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer biking, you can cycle from your location within Superior National Forest. Use the network of forest roads to connect to MN-1 S, and then follow the same directions as for driving. Ensure you have a good map or GPS device, as some forest roads may not be well-marked.
