If you're coming from Grand Marais, head north on MN-61. After about 5 miles, turn left onto the Gunflint Trail (Co Rd 12). Follow the Gunflint Trail for approximately 36 miles. Look for a trailhead parking area on your left side. The Magnetic Rock trailhead is well-marked, and you can park your vehicle there.
