From the Kabetogama Lake Visitor Center, head south on MN-53 S for about 10 miles. Take the exit toward Kabetogama, and merge onto Kabetogama Lake Road. Follow the road until you reach the junction with Gold Portage Road. Turn left onto Gold Portage Road, and continue for approximately 2 miles. The Gold Portage State Wildlife Management Area will be located on your right. Make sure to park in designated areas.
