Car
If you are already inside Voyageurs National Park, start by heading to the nearest main road, which is the Ash River Trail. From there, take Ash River Trail south until you reach the intersection with MN-11. Turn left onto MN-11 and continue east for approximately 10 miles. You will then reach the junction for County Road 24. Turn left onto County Road 24 and follow it for about 5 miles, where you will find the parking area for Locator Lake Trail. Make sure to look for trailhead signs along the way.
